Aa beh ve chana manmohnia kuz kariye galaan,
Tere hath main mahi nu koi suneha kala,
Ja mere sajjan nu mera haal sunavi,
Utho de ve koi kher khabar lae ke aavin,
Kis rang hai rangia baag mera minu aa ke dassi,
Keeven hasda full jo khidia tu aa ke hassi
Vekh parchavaen uthe ve pende hon-ge pulekhe
Jape ohle kharia mahi mera menu vekhe
Buhe val takdia hon-gia kuz pyasi akhiaan,
Dassi asi ve aassaa kyi sambi rakhian,
Thandi hava da bulla koi lae ke javi
Koi mithi jihi khusbu naal tu lenda aavin,
Aa beth ve chana manmohnia koi gal sunava,
Tere rahi main aapnia kuz reeza lavan.

ਚੰਨ ਮਨਮੋਹਣਾ
ਆ ਬਿਹ ਵੇ ਚਨਾ ਮਨਮੋਹਣਿਆ ਕੁਜ਼ ਕਰੀਏ ਗੱਲਾ,
ਤੇਰੇ ਹਥ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਹਿ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਕਲਾਂ,
ਜਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਨੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਸੁਣਾਵੀ,
ਉਥੋ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਖੇਰ ਖਬਰ ਲੇ ਕੇ ਆਵੀਂ,
ਕਿਸ ਰੰਗ ਹੈ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਬਾਗ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਨੁ ਆ ਕੇ ਦੱਸੀ,
ਕੀਵੇਂ ਹਸਦਾ ਫੁੱਲ ਜੋ ਖੀਡਿਆ ਤੂ ਆ ਕੇ ਹੱਸੀ
ਵੇਖ ਪਰਛਵਾਏਂ ਉਥੇ ਵੀ ਪੇਂਦੇ ਹੋਣ-ਗੇ ਪੁੱਲੇਖੇ
ਜਾਪੇ ਓਹਲੇ ਖੜਿਆ ਮਾਹਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੇਨੂ ਵੇਖੇ
ਬੂਹੇ ਵਲ ਤਕਦੀਆ ਹੋਣ-ਗਿਆ ਕੁਜ਼ ਪ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਆਖਿਆਂ,
ਦੱਸੀ ਅਸੀ ਵੀ ਆੱਸਾ ਕਯੀ ਸਾਂਬਈ ਰਖੀਆਂ,
ਠੰਡੀ ਹਵਾ ਦਾ ਬੁੱਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਲੇ ਕੇ ਜਾਵੀਂ
ਕੋਈ ਮਿਠੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਖੁਸਬੂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਲੇਂਦਾ ਆਵੀਂ,
ਆ ਬੇਹ ਵੇ ਚਨਾ ਮਨਮੋਹਣਿਆ ਕੋਈ ਗਲ ਸੁਣਾਵਾ,
ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪ੍ਣੀਆ ਕੁਜ਼ ਰੀਜ਼ਾ ਲਾਵਾਂ.

Translation
Beautiful moon
O beautiful moon come sit with me, let’s chat for some time
Through you may I send a message to my beloved
Tell my condition to my love
And get some new from them also
When you come back tell me how beautiful garden is mine there
And tell how the little flowers have bloomed
After seeing shadows, they must also be mistaking
