ਆਖਿਆਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਬੈਠਾ, ਅੰਦਰ ਮਾਰੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਏ ਕੀ ਡਿਠਾ
ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਕੂੰਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਆਪੀ ਖੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ

ਕਿ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈਂ?

ਕੁਜ਼ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਗਯੇ, ਤੇ ਕੁਜ਼ ਆਓਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਪਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਨਾ ਵਸ ਤੇਰੇ,ਨਾ ਵਸ ਮੇਰੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ

ਆਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ, ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਦਿਲ ਦਿਆਂ ਪਰਤਾਂ ਖੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਅੰਦਰ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੀ ਸੁਪਨਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ

ਕਦੇ ਏ ਔਖਾ, ਕਦੇ ਸੌਖਾ, ਮੈਂ ਪੜ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਇਸ੍ਕ਼ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਜਿਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਏ ਤਾਂ ਓਹੀ ਜਾਣੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ

ਖੁਦੀ ਤੌਂ ਖੁਦ, ਮੈਂ ਗੁਮ ਹੋਇਆ, ਖੁੱਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇਨੁ ਟੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਤੂੰ ਮਿਟਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਿਲਣਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ

At times it is tough or easy, upon reading books I describe love

Vekh,
Lai Suraj toun lo udaari
Asmaani chann ikk chamki jaave
O aape aap karaave.

Translation
Watch,
By borrowing light from Sun
One moon is shinning in sky
He (God) is doing it himslef.

(O My master, like a moon which shine after borrowiing light from Sun, if i’m of any worth Its because of you only)
